01 — The Challenge
Sandy soil, a cracked slab and a chain-link fence — a yard the family walked past instead of using.
02 — The Plan
Organize the yard into two rooms: a bluestone patio for supper and a turf lawn for play, framed by cedar fencing and muhly grass.
03 — The Build
Broke out the slab, set a compacted base, laid bluestone and premium turf with hidden nailer edging, then planted the borders in one week.
