The craft
Pools, creeks and outdoor living define James Island backyards. We build turf that stays comfortable around the water and handles the island’s low, wet spots.
We build every lawn from the ground up: excavation, a compacted crushed-stone base graded to drain, and premium turf seamed and infilled by hand. It stays green through August and February alike — no mowing, watering or fertilizer.

Yes. Turf replaces muddy grass and hot concrete around pools. We use cool-touch fibers and infill and grade it so splash water drains away.
