The craft
Small bungalow yards, new subdivisions and businesses that need a clean front lawn — North Charleston yards are hard-working, and turf keeps up without a mower.
Artificial turf — some people call it artificial grass or synthetic grass — is only as good as what is under it. We build every lawn from the ground up: excavation, a compacted crushed-stone base graded to drain, and premium turf seamed and infilled by hand. It stays green through August and February alike — no mowing, watering or fertilizer.

Good questions.
Often more than for a big one. Small yards get heavy wear in the same few spots, and turf stays even and green where grass would wear through.
Yes. We install commercial turf for storefronts, offices, apartment communities and pet businesses, built for daily traffic and minimal upkeep.
Very little. Blow off leaves, rinse it down now and then, and give it a light brushing a few times a year to keep the fibers standing tall. No mowing, watering, fertilizing or weeding.
Our base is built drain-first: compacted crushed stone graded to move water away from the house, under turf with a perforated or full-flow backing. Most installs drain faster than the natural grass they replace.
Any surface warms in direct July sun. We reduce it with lighter, heat-reflective fiber blends and cooling infills, and we design shade and planting around the way you actually use the yard. A quick rinse cools it down fast.
A quality, professionally installed turf lawn typically lasts 15 years or more. The base and the install matter as much as the turf itself — that is where we spend our time.
